Top 5 Under £5: Lips

I did a previous blog post similar to this, but it was all about face products and this time I’m going to be sharing my top lip finds from the drugstore! There are far too many lip products on the market – some are pants, but some are now my all time favourites! When I use a lipstick I want it to be long-lasting, nourishing and opaque regardless of whether it is glossy or matte formula. I understand that it can be really tough to find those sort of products at the drugstore for such an affordable price, but there are some out there! I guess it’s all about trial and error, but here are my recommended lip products under £5.

Where to Explore in Barcelona

Barcelona is a city full of architectural delight and an opportunity to drinks loads of Sangria! I decided to take my boyfriend there for his 21st birthday and we both rather enjoyed the city. The buildings are so beautiful and there’s endless things to do there! We stayed for a weekend, but I just wish we had more time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and discover more. Obviously it’s a tourist-based city, meaning people try to make as much money as they can from you! Try not to buy into it too much though.

My Hair Essentials

I always get compliments on my hair and I never truly understand why, but if that’s the case then the products I use are obviously working. I have quite a long list of hair essentials, my hair is thick and coarse so it requires quite a lot of attention everyday. Every single products that I mention in this post helps my hair to look healthy, smooth and shiny for up to 4 days. I haven’t mentioned any dry shampoos in this post because I’m still on the hunt for one I like, so if you have any recommendations feel free to leave a comment down below and I will check them out!

Top 5 Under £5: Face

I totally understand that using luxury makeup feels great, but cheaper brands have quite a few knock out products that I, personally, can not not have in my makeup collection. £5 is a total bargain, especially if the product performs well. There are so many products out there for your complexion but I have managed to narrow it down to my top 5. I highly recommend picking these up from either Boots or Superdrug, you can thank me later!

London: Beverages on the Bog

London is the city for beautifully designed bars and cafes, but not many people notice the unusual and outlandish side of our capital city. Former public toilets are becoming a huge hit for investors to start up a business and what better way than to use them for the entertainment of the public? I went on a hunt to find a couple innovative places in London.

My Pick of the Best Series’ to Watch

So if you’re like me and love to binge on a good old series, you will enjoy this post. I should probably spend less time enjoying myself and more time doing some uni work, but where’s the fun in that? Over the past couple of years I have completed far too many series’; some good, some meh. But in this post I will share my top ten favourite series’!

WARNING: Just a heads up, I have tried my best not to include ones you’ve probably heard of hundreds of times, but if they were good I can’t help it!

My Skincare Essentials

For me, skincare is super important, especially because my skin can be very temperamental at times. Sometimes it is trial and error with skin products; you might come across a product that does absolute wonders for your skin, but then you might buy a product and it has the opposite effect.

I wish my skin was beautifully clear but come on, who am I kidding? No one is perfect. It’s good to embrace and feel confident in your skin on no makeup days and it’s also nice to have skin where makeup applies beautifully. I’m not saying a good skincare regime will sort your skin out completely, other things come into it too. But for this post, I’m just going to mention my skincare favourites at the moment and why I’ve been loving them so much.
